I filleted all the joints in the cockpit and cut some access holes ready for the locker lids.

I then taped all the joints.
I used a West 450 g/m Biaxal cloth for the deck and cockpit.

I made the mast base out of some Oak I had left over, I levelled the boat so she was sitting parallel with the water line so I could get the mast base at the correct angle.

I glassed the mast base into position, using a laser to get the centre line of the boat.
